Penarth Pier at Night

Penarth Pier after dark, seen from my window. The lights come on, the pier empties, and a single lamp picks out its own small piece of the view. I wanted the painting to put you where I stood — watching an ordinary evening story from inside a warm room. This painting was shown at Llanover Hall Arts Centre in Cardiff.
